This policy explains what information Yacoob Health Group collects when you use this website or contact us, how we use it, and the choices you have. We keep it in plain English on purpose.
Who we are
Yacoob Health Group is an independent health insurance brokerage owned and operated by Mark Yacoob, a licensed health insurance broker in the State of Florida, National Producer Number 19438278. We are not a government agency and we are not affiliated with or endorsed by the federal Health Insurance Marketplace.
What we collect
- Information you give us. When you fill in the form on this site, we collect your name, phone number, email address and anything you write in the message box. When you call or text, we receive your phone number.
- Information collected automatically. When you arrive from a Google ad, we store the click identifier Google attaches to the link so we can tell which ads lead to real enquiries. We also use standard web analytics and a call tracking service to measure which ads produce calls.
Why we collect it
We use your information for one purpose: to respond to your enquiry and help you compare and enrol in health insurance. Specifically, to contact you about your request, to prepare quotes and plan comparisons, to submit an application to an insurance carrier if you choose one, and to meet our record-keeping obligations as a licensed broker. We also use the advertising data described above to understand which of our ads are worth running.
Who we share it with
We share your information only where it is needed to do the job you asked us to do:
- Insurance carriers, when you ask us to prepare or submit an application on your behalf.
- Service providers who operate parts of this site for us — our web host, our email provider, our call tracking provider, and Google's advertising tools. They may only use your information to provide that service to us.
- Where the law requires it, including in response to a lawful request from a regulator or court.
Calls, texts and your consent
When you submit the form, you agree that we may contact you by phone, text message or email about health insurance options. Consent is not a condition of purchase — you are never required to agree to marketing in order to buy a plan or to get help from us. Message and data rates may apply. You can stop text messages at any time by replying STOP, and you can ask us to stop contacting you entirely by calling or texting (954) 406-5100 or emailing info@yacoobhealthgroup.com.
Calls to and from our advertised number are handled through a call tracking service so we can measure which advertising generates enquiries.
Cookies and advertising
This site uses Google's advertising tag to measure conversions from Google Ads, and stores a Google click identifier in your browser for up to 90 days so that an enquiry can be matched back to the ad you clicked. You can clear this at any time by clearing your browser's site data, and you can manage Google's advertising personalisation in your Google account settings.
Health information
Please do not send detailed medical records or diagnoses through the website form. If we need health information to prepare an accurate quote or complete an application, we will collect it directly from you and handle it in line with our obligations as a licensed insurance producer and with the carrier's own privacy practices.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry records for as long as needed to serve you and to satisfy the record-keeping rules that apply to licensed insurance brokers in Florida. If you ask us to delete your information and we are not required to retain it, we will.
Your choices
You can ask us at any time to tell you what information we hold about you, correct anything that's wrong, delete your information where we're not required to keep it, or stop contacting you. Just call or text (954) 406-5100 or email info@yacoobhealthgroup.com. We'll respond promptly.
Security
This site is served over an encrypted connection and enquiry data is transmitted directly to our own email and stored on our own hosting account. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information and limit who can access it.
Children
This site is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18 other than as part of a family application submitted by a parent or guardian.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page.
